Ryan Perez · Social system

The composition system.

The object isn't the post. The object is the combination of elements inside the frame. Choose one to five, decide which one dominates, delete everything that doesn't serve the outcome. Same tokens, thirty different graphics.

Not a template pack A grammar. 12 dominance layouts × 6 canvases × 7 element slots.
Graphic=Attention+Meaning+Visual+Proof+Action — you never need all five
Purpose 01

Stop attention

Visual + short headline. The picture dominates; the copy is the caption to the picture, never the other way round.
C01 · Square 1:1Attention + Visual + IdentityImage-led → headline → wordmark
C02 · Story 9:16Attention + Visual + Proof + IdentityLower-third headline, exact numbers as proof
C03 · Landscape 16:9Attention + Meaning + ActionTypography as the image — visual removed entirely
Purpose 02

Create curiosity

A question and then nothing. The empty space is the second element — resist filling it with an answer.
C04 · Square 1:1Question + empty spaceSingle dominant element; no visual, no CTA
C05 · Story 9:16Question + labelHeadline top-anchored, void below — inverted hierarchy
C06 · Portrait 4:5Photograph + tiny captionHeadline removed — the image explains everything
Purpose 03

Educate & explain

Headline + three items. Never bullets — numbered hairline rows, with exactly one item lit blue as the punchline.
C07 · Portrait 4:5Attention + three items + ActionSimplify: dense information, no image
C08 · Landscape 16:9Attention + method + ActionSame formula, wider measure, smaller type ratio
C09 · Square 1:1Step + Attention + Instruction + NavigationNumeral dominates; the step number is the visual
Purpose 04

Establish authority

Statistic → interpretation → source. Exact figures only; rounding a number costs the whole post its credibility.
C10 · Square 1:1Proof + Meaning + Source + IdentityData-led: numeral → explanation → source
C11 · Story 9:16One giant number + one sentence Source removed — the number carries itself
C12 · Landscape 16:9Proof + interpretation + SourceConference-screen variant of C10
Purpose 05

Build trust

Quote + portrait + name + measured result. A testimonial without a number is a compliment, not evidence.
C13 · Portrait 4:5Quote + Portrait + Name + ResultFace flooded to canvas on the left so type stays legible
C14 · Square 1:1Quote + Portrait + AttributionResult removed — three hammer words do the work
Purpose 06

Promote an event

Event name + date + location + CTA. Four facts in a fixed reading order; the photo is texture behind them.
C15 · Story 9:16Event + Date + Place + ActionFacts on hairline rows, label left, value right
C16 · Landscape 16:9Attention + Meaning + Visual + Proof badge + ActionAll five slots — the densest legal composition
C17 · Thumbnail 1280×720Episode label + four-word punch + FaceExplanation stripped — thumbnails read at 120px wide
Purpose 07

Generate leads

Problem + promised outcome + CTA. One saturated blue scene per campaign, placed exactly where the conversion happens.
C18 · Square 1:1Problem + Outcome + ActionText-only; a backlight replaces the photograph
C19 · Portrait 4:5Offer + Inclusions + Price + Scarcity + ActionThe blue cut — one per campaign, never two
C20 · Story 9:16QR + Benefit + InstructionPrice and scarcity removed; the code is the CTA
Purpose 08

Show transformation

Before + dividing line + after + measured result. The grade does the arguing: before is desaturated, after carries the house grade.
C21 · Landscape 16:9Before + After + Explanation + ResultOne hairline divider, two labels, one number
C22 · Portrait 4:5Then + Now + Transformation arrowLabels relabelled; the arrow lives in the copy
Purpose 09

Correct misinformation

Myth struck through, fact in full contrast, source underneath. Negation then reframe — the house sentence structure, made visual.
C23 · Square 1:1Myth + Fact + SourceFact half weighted 1.15 — the correction owns more space
C24 · Portrait 4:5Contrarian claim + Diagnosis + SourceSame layout, headline role swapped to contrarian
Purpose 10

Build a series

Cover + numbered steps + navigation. The cover carries the image; interior slides go text-only so the numeral can dominate.
C25 · Carousel coverCategory + Attention + Swipe promiseOnly slide with a photograph
C26 · Slide 01Step + Attention + Explanation + NavigationDots track position; identity repeats on every slide
C27 · Slide 03Step + Attention + Explanation + NavigationCopy shortens as the series advances
C28 · Slide 05Attention + Action (the cut)Every optional element deleted — one ask, one link
C29 · Story slide 04Same series, vertical canvasNumeral shrinks; the void below carries the swipe
C30 · Recap 16:9Compression — five slides into one frameThe reshare asset; posted a week after the carousel
Step 01 · Elements Switch a slot off and the layout re-resolves around what's left. Five is the legal maximum, not the target.
Step 02 · Dominance
Step 03 · Canvas
Formula · {{ count }} elements {{ formula }} Visual switched off, so the dominance fell back to headline-led — typography becomes the image.

The alternatives

Don't ask what graphic to post.

Ask what tool, proof, event, conversation or transformation could replace it. Below: the baseline object taken apart, every internal variable pushed through four states, then the full format inventory the grid produces. The blue entries are the ones this system already renders as graphics.

Derivation 01

The baseline object, taken apart

Object: a static social graphic. Conditions: a crowded feed, viewed fast. Change any one component and a different asset falls out.

Derivation 02

Seventeen variables × four states

Baseline → minor change → major change → inversion. Read a row left to right and you are watching a format become a different medium.

Twelve meta-variables

Seven combinations that produce new objects

One variable moved is a format change. Four moved together is a different product.

Derivation 05

The transformation grid

Eighteen named shifts. Pick the shift first, then the format — never the other way round.

The inventory

Twelve families of alternative

Everything the grid produces, grouped by which variable moved. Every entry is a real composed post, not a label — including the ones that are not really graphics at all. Motion renders as its key frame, audio as its audiogram, experience as its live card, physical as the printed object.

Seven assets that do a second job

These combine communication with function. Not better graphics — different objects.
